The Adoption Authority sends sincere condolences to the family and friends of Christine Hennessey, may she rest in peace, and to Barnardos Adoption Team on the sudden death of their treasured friend and colleague.

Christine pioneered the establishment of multiple services in post adoption support for adults and children. 

She will be greatly missed by everyone in the adoption community where she worked for many decades.
