Notice regarding payments to accredited bodies
 
Accredited bodies are entitled under the Adoption Acts 2010 - 2017 to charge reasonable fees as remuneration for professional services provided.  While the Authority maintains a supervisory role over accredited bodies, any fees paid by service users to accredited bodies in respect of professional services are provided at users’ own risk and any recourse which users may have in the event of loss of funds is against the accredited body directly.  The Authority cannot be held liable for the loss of any such fees.”
