The Department of Children and Youth Affairs has published a report on the potential introduction of open or semi-open adoption in Ireland, based upon the findings of a review and consultation that the Department carried out over a period of 18 months. The review included policy and legal analysis, in addition to various forms of consultation with members of the public and key stakeholders. The full report can be viewed here.
